SUMMIT ACADEMY CHARTER SCHOOL
will be the premier choice in college preparatory education, competitive athletics, and both the liberal and fine arts.
By empowering students to acquire, demonstrate, articulate and value knowledge and skills that will support them as life-long learners, Summit graduates will positively contribute to a global society.
Why Choose Us
Opportunity for All. The reality is that all scholars will not obtain a scholastic scholarship into a college or university, so Summit Academy Charter School deliberately creates alternate paths to secondary education for all scholars. This sense of shared responsibility is a critical factor in maintaining world-class expectations for every scholar –regardless of race, gender, religion, socioeconomic status, or prior educational achievement.
STAFF
Summit Academy Faculty members are truly dedicated to building life-altering relationships between colleagues, scholars, families, and the community.
programs
Summit Academy programs ensure that students are prepared to succeed and master the subjects that are essential for college.
On November 1, 2022 we had a special ribbon-cutting celebration to mark the opening of Brooklyn’s Premier Innovation Lab at Summit Academy Charter School in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
Summit Academy Charter School’s Esports Innovation Lab is a result of the joint vision, partnership, and efforts of Summit’s Leadership Team and the Center for Educational Innovation’s (CEI) Esports Division. After developing a successful pilot during the Spring of 2022, Summit now has a fully equipped and operational Gaming laboratory designed to support students interested in the world of Gaming Opportunities and Competitive Esports teams. Students can earn elective credits toward graduation and opportunities to participate in after-school sessions for fun and engagement. We expect to graduate students who will pursue degree programs in Gaming, as well as students who will pursue competitive Esports opportunities. Read more.
