Resources & Counseling

Introduction to our Counseling Team:

A School Social Worker and Guidance Counselor are available for you if you need any additional support in your academic or personal life. What you share with the social worker and guidance counselor remains confidential unless;

  • There is a threat to the scholar

  • The scholar is a threat to themselves

  • The scholar is a threat for others

  • The scholar gives the social worker or guidance counselor permission to share with another adult or organization (i.e. insurance or medical organization)

The Summit Academy Charter School Community Partnership Team identifies school community needs and makes connections to community resources so that we can access their services. In addition, the Community Partnership team is responsible for the facilitation and coordination of Parent University, an initiative developed by the Parent Coordinator and Social Service Providers at Summit (Guidance Counselors, Social Worker, College & Career Readiness Coordinator).
